These sculptures are a continuation of my Deterministic Carvings series.
I took the work to several different locations, a highlight being an old stone house in rural northeastern Vermont. I chose this building because of the rich history it has had over the years. So many decisions were made in the process of construction. From the first conceptions, to picking the plot, to laying the first and last stones; all these decisions set the future in motion for those to interact with in even in the most trivial ways.
